Abstract: The S.I.I.V. Arena is a forum for discussion where Ph.D. students and young scholars from various universities present their research on topics of particular interest to the Scientific Disciplinary Sector CEAR-03/A “Roads, Railways and Airports.” The 10th International S.I.I.V. Arena will take place in Naples on 21 November 2025, within the framework of the XX S.I.I.V. National Meeting: "Strade, Ferrovie e Aeroporti." The purpose of this volume is to collect the most innovative research in the field, presented during the 10th International S.I.I.V. Arena, with a focus on key issues such as digitalization, pavement materials and safety.

Author Biography

Salvatore Antonio Biancardo, University of Naples Federico II

Salvatore Antonio Biancardo is an Associate Professor at the Department of Civil, Building and Environmental Engineering of the University of Naples Federico II. He is co-founder of the academic spin-off VIASTRATA srl, dedicated to the development of methods and tools for digital information management (infraBIM). In 2023, he obtained the Italian National Scientific Qualification as Full Professor. He has served as a Member of Scientific Committees and as Chair of numerous international conferences. He is also a Member of the Editorial Board/Reviewer for several indexed international journals. His main research fields include BIM for infrastructures as well as infrastructure construction and management.
