Abstract: Born from the author’s interest in the Emerald Isle and the fairy-tale genre, this book explores the (re)telling of Irish fairy tales in the third millennium. Through the analysis of a selection of texts, enriched with extensive material, it examines how and to what extent these stories continue to be told today. It serves as a valuable guide to rediscovering a fascinating traditional heritage, carefully reinterpreted in light of contemporary challenges, ultimately aiming to sustain Italian interest in Erin, its diverse voices, and its timeless, magical stories.
