Abstract: This book of the University Committee for Sustainable Development (CASe) presents the first experience of coordination and sharing carried out by all the components of the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio involved in the education for economic, social, institutional and environmental sustainability. This book presents the state and perspectives of university training on sustainable development and a contribution to the activities of the Network of Universities for Sustainable Development (RUS), part of the second university mission: education. The topics related education for sustainability in the University are developed in the different areas belonging to the individual researchers, but almost all the contributions had to refer to the COVID-19 pandemic, which has affected and is affecting many aspects of research and teaching.

Domenico de Vincenzo, University of Cassino and Southern Lazio

Associate professor in Economic and Political Geography, at the Department of Economics and Law of the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio. His actual main research subjects are energy transition and relationship between economic development and environmental quality.
