Abstract: This volume is the first issue of the series ‘Genève-Naples. Cahier de Langue, Littérature et Culture. ‘Geneva-Naples’. Notebook of Language, Literature and Culture. It was created within the framework of the International Convention between the University of Naples L'Orientale and the Faculté des Lettres of the Université de Genève and represents a space for scientific and cultural exchange between the Genevan and Neapolitan communities in the fields of French literature, language and culture. In its brevity, the aim of this volume is not so much to seek common interests between the two scientific communities as to identify further possibilities for collaboration that could be dialogue and cultural horizon.

Author Biography

Giovannella Fusco Girard, University of Naples L'Orientale

Giovannella Fusco Girard taught French Literature at the University of Naples L'Orientale from 1975 to 2015. Her studies have focused on the major voices of modern and contemporary French poetry such as Apollinaire, Baudelaire, Mallarmé, Ponge, Picabia and Bonnefoy, on whom she has written numerous books and essays. His interests have also turned to Francophone literature, especially Swiss literature, with interesting studies on authors such as Ella Mallart and Nicolas Bouvier.
