Abstract: The study of one hundred and thirty houses built in Japan in the last twenty years, carried out with the students of the "Design Workshop I" (computer skills module), was an opportunity to develop some considerations on an architectural system that has adapted over time to new uses, without ever losing its identity.

Marco Russo, University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli

Marco Russo (Naples, 1988) is an architect and Ph.D. He has studied the work of several Twentieth-century architects, such as Erik Christian Sørensen and Maurizio Sacripanti. He participates in conferences and is active in the field of design experimentation.
