Abstract: The volume offers the Proceedings of the International Conference on “The Jews in Fondi and its Territory” held at Palazzo Caetani in Fondi on May 10, 2012. The conference was promoted by the Municipality of Fondi, with the support of the Center for Jewish Studies of the University of Naples “L’Orientale”, the Regional Center for Environmental Education and Information, the Regional Park of the Ausoni Mountains and the Fondi Lake, under the patronage of the Union of Italian Jewish Communities and the Jewish Communities of Naples and Rome. Giancarlo Lacerenza, University of Naples "L'Orientale"

Giancarlo Lacerenza teaches Biblical and Medieval Hebrew at the University of Naples “L’Orientale”, where in 2007 he founded the Center for Jewish Studies and directs the Sefer yuḥasin – Review for the History of the Jews in South Italy.
