Aims and scope: Shared knowledges is a series of didactic and scientific divulgation of the University of Naples L’Orientale, published by the Department of Asia, Africa and the Mediterranean Studies. The series will publish monographs and edited books in the traditional fields of research of L’Orientale, which range between the study of Languages and Linguistics, Cultures, History, Geography, History of Thought, Archaeological and Artistic Heritage, and Legal and Socio-Economic Systems of Asian, African and Mediterranean countries and civilizations. Shared knowledges has the goal to present researches in a way that is relevant and accessible to both researchers and students, and to disseminate to a wider audience the developments in the various fields of study. For this reason, publications will be available in open-access.
