Abstract: In twelve essays, this volume aims to unravel the complex interplay of Platonism and Kantianism in Friedrich Schiller's philosophy by investigating the conceptual elements and textual sources referencing the Platonic and Neoplatonic traditions. In doing so, all of the key junctures of Schiller's thought are addressed, ranging from ethics and aesthetics to politics and the theory of knowledge.
