Abstract: The ‘Geogioiello design’ Research Group has promoted the foundation of the international jewellery design magazine ‘Alkimya Mag jewellery design maps’, published by the GEM TECH Gemmological Institute, born from an agreement with the OROMARE Goldsmith Centre, GEM TECH, Officina Vanvitelli, which investigates the synergies between Institutions, Schools, Associations, Companies working in the field of precious metals. This special issue of the magazine is dedicated to the study of materials that give substance to jewellery design.
