Abstract: The Proceedings of the Korean Studies Graduate Students Convention (KSGSC), held at the University of Naples “L’Orientale” in 2024, represent the first published volume in the history of this academic gathering, now in its eighteenth edition. Each year, the Convention aims to provide a platform for emerging scholars in Korean Studies, fostering the exchange of ideas and highlighting the diversity of approaches and topics that characterise the field.

This volume features the work of six early-career researchers selected to present during the conference sessions. Their contributions—united by a shared passion for Korean Studies—cover a range of disciplinary perspectives, including Korean language education, literature, visual arts, women’s cinema, and social movements.
