Abstract: Transition in Question. Dialectic, Structure, Difference brings into dialogue theoretical perspectives that, from sometimes very heterogeneous points of view, have critically confronted the Marxian problematic of the transition-proletarian revolution connection, sometimes to definitively distance themselves from it, sometimes to rethink its fundamental categories. The book offers a panoramic view of the different reconfigurations of the theme of transition - transition as destiny of being, as event, as utopia, as ideology, as theoretical positioning, as constituent ontology - questioning the multiple trajectories of a concept that, having survived the “crisis of Marxism”, has invested new themes (digital transition, ecological transition) and has taken root in the heart of contemporaneity
