Abstract: "Precious Anthology" is one of the special issues of the One look series, a particular look at fashion, dedicated to jewelry. The title expands the etymology of the words used to affirm the role and function of jewellery in fashion design. Anthologia [from Gr. ἀνθολογία, propr. 'collection of flowers', comp. of ἄνθος 'flower' and λογία from the theme of λέγω 'to choose'] collection of significant parts, of exemplary elegance and formal perfection;  precious, [adjective from Lat. pretiosus, der. of pretium "price, value", propr. "expensive, high-priced] which has great intrinsic qualities, rare, indispensable, necessary, extremely accurate in form, in style for this reason elegant, refined.
