Abstract: "Precious Anthology" is one of the special issues of the One look series, a particular look at fashion, dedicated to jewelry. The title expands the etymology of the words used to affirm the role and function of jewellery in fashion design. Anthologia [from Gr. ἀνθολογία, propr. 'collection of flowers', comp. of ἄνθος 'flower' and λογία from the theme of λέγω 'to choose'] collection of significant parts, of exemplary elegance and formal perfection;  precious, [adjective from Lat. pretiosus, der. of pretium "price, value", propr. "expensive, high-priced] which has great intrinsic qualities, rare, indispensable, necessary, extremely accurate in form, in style for this reason elegant, refined. Maria Dolores Morelli is Coordinator of the Bachelor's Degree Course in Design and Communication, Associate Professor of "Industrial Design. Scientific research: ecodesign, jewellery design, typo-morphological and compositional studies, form-design relationship through the theme of the right distribution (oixonomy) necessary for the creation and control of artefacts.
