Abstract: The process of exploring one's intimacy, therefore of the etymology, alludes to the design process that produces innovative individual artefacts that confront the social, cultural, natural, and historical contemporary environment. "Dolor se invenit", this quote from Ovid illustrates the etymology of the term "intimately". From ìntimo adj. and s. m. (from Lat. intĭmus, superl. formed on the prep. in «in, inside» in the inside or in the inner part (as opposed to outside), in the soul, in the heart. This is precisely the incipit for the design of the 12 micro collections from which emerge different attitudes of knowledge and reflection that can be skin and dress. Projects of the Fashion Design Laboratory 2, collaboration with Istitute “Francesco Degni” of Torre del Greco; with Archaeological Park of Herculaneum (Na); the Museum of Ancient Capua Mitrea and the Campanian Amphitheatre, with dott. Raffaella Marzocchi.
