Abstract: During last years, the academic research in the field of jewellery has acquired a growing autonomy within the wider field of Fashion Design. Therefore, an interdisciplinary specialised research group is being organised in order to increase the innovative themes and researches that have involved several professors of this Department. The research path is basically composed of two closely related fields of study: History and Design.

Danila Jacazzi, University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli

Danila Jacazzi is Full professor for the SSD ICAR18 “History of Architecture” at the University of Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli”, Department of Architecture and Industrial Design.  Deputy director of the Department of Architecture and Industrial Design of the University of Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli”. Member of the Scientific Committee of the “Architecture Heritage and Design” series of Gangemi Editore. Member of the Executive Committee of IFAU23 – IV International Forum for Architecture and Urbanism Climate Change and Cultural Heritage.  Member of the International Research Project (2019-2022) financed by Ministerio de Ciencia, Innovación y Universidades (Espana), Arte y cultura en la Barcelona moderna – ACPA/2. Member of the Research Program PRIN 2022 “VeLoCi - The Vesuvian Lost Cities before the “Discovery”. Sources, Experience, Imagery in Early Modern Period.  Member of the Research Program PRIN 2009 “Cities, landscape and cultural heritage of the Mediterranean: knowledge factory”.  National Scientific Coordinator of the Research Program  PRIN 2003 “The Architecture of Classicism between the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries”. Member of the Research Program PRIN 2000 “Historical-artistic itineraries for the Benedictine foundations after the Cluniac reform”. Scientific coordinator for “Materia Cimitile”-  Week of Scientific and Technological Culture of the MIUR in 2010, 2011 and 2012. Member of the Teaching Board of the PhD in "Architecture, Industrial Design and Cultural Heritage". Member of the SCIENTIFIC COMMITTEE AND JURY OF COMPETITION of the International Competition “Maison des Oasis. Maria Dolores Morelli is Coordinator of the Bachelor's Degree Course in Design and Communication, Associate Professor of "Industrial Design. Scientific research: ecodesign, jewellery design, typo-morphological and compositional studies, form-design relationship through the theme of the right distribution (oixonomy) necessary for the creation and control of artefacts.
