Abstract: Climate change, sustainability and respect for the environment are themes on which the Ministry of Universities and Research (MUR) and the Department for European Policies of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers in collaboration with the Conference of Italian University Rectors (CRUI) launched a national competition entitled "University 4 EU - Your Future, Our Europe", in which the Department of Architecture and Industrial Design of the University of Campania 'Luigi Vanvitelli' participated as the winner of the call.

This call was an opportunity to promote initiatives to be carried out within the education system and to introduce students to the work of the Conference on the Future of Europe, aimed at providing an active and original contribution of ideas on the future of the European Union. The PLANA project - Planet Life: A New Awareness, is a choral reflection produced by young people on the themes of the environment and climate change, supported by the research and training programmes of the teaching staff, to which the substantial chapter "The disciplines of Architecture and Industrial Design for environmental sustainability" bears witness. An awareness of a countdown that, if not reversed, cannot avoid asking in the near future: "But won't we be there?".
