Author Biographies

Simonetta Graziani, University of Naples L'Orientale

Simonetta Graziani has taught Assyriology and History of the Ancient Near East at University of Naples “L’Orientale”. As a researcher, she has participated in and has been responsible of national and international different projects. She has written extensively on philology, epigraphy, history, glyptics, and religion of Mesopotamia and the Ancient Near East, with special focus on first millennium BCE.

Gancarlo Lacerenza, University of Naples L'Orientale

Giancarlo Lacerenza is full professor at the University of Naples “L’Orientale”, where he teaches of Biblical and Medieval Hebrew, Jewish History, and Jewish Epigraphy and Antiquities. He authored a number of studies in the field of Jewish history, epigraphy and philology. He leads the local Center for Jewish Studies; he is editor-in-chief of the series Archive of Jewish Studies and also of the review Sefer yuḥasin.
