Author Biographies

Mario Loffredo, University of Salerno

Mario Loffredo obtained a PhD in Medieval History at the Università degli Studi di Salerno, where he is a “cultore della materia”. He took part in the CHIS projects, implemented within the distretto DATABENC, and VASARI. His areas of interest focus mainly on the Cistercian Order and on the religious institutions of Southern Italy in the Late Middle Ages.

Antonio Tagliente, University of Salerno

Antonio Tagliente received his PhD in Medieval History at the Università degli Studi di Salerno, where he is a “cultore della materia”. He is currently a research fellow at the University of Salerno. His research interests are mainly focused on the Lombard Southern Italy (9th-11th centuries) and on the archdiocese of Capua in the early Angevin age.
