Abstract: On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the Jewish Community of Naples, two exhibitions – which organization was entrusted to the Center of Jewish Studies of the University of Naples “L'Orientale” –  were hosted in Naples, at the Naples National Library (12 November - 12 December 2014) and the Naples State Archive (14 January - 26 March 2015). In addition to the celebratory volume, this collection of essays adds further matter of study and reflection on some specialist topics: nine texts touching specific issues, ranging from economic and social history to cultural history, with new insights and perspectives on the present asset of the Community, introduced both through the lens of memory, as through the methods of modern anthropology. Including essays and speechs by Roberta Ascarelli, Bruno Di Porto, Pierangela Di Lucchio, Giancarlo Lacerenza, Elda Morlicchio, Pierpaolo Pinhas Punturello, Miriam Rebhun, Giacomo Saban, Rosaria Savio, Maria Carmela Schisani.
