Abstract: This volume presents original theoretical-scientific, applied and experimental products aimed at identifying and promoting effective and innovative strategies to combat the phenomenon of functional illiteracy, which lurks in the most disadvantaged schools in all the countries of the European Union. These are the results of collaborative research carried out within the framework of the Erasmus Plus Strategic Partnership project, Key Action K201, marked with the European "Best Practice" label, Prévenir l'Illettrisme par des dispositifs pédagogiques innovants et la coopération avec les familles/Preventing Illiteracy through innovative pedagogical devices and cooperation with families, (2017-2020), which involved the University of Basilicata, the Piedmont Regional School Office (Italy), the Direction des Services Départementaux de l'Éducation Nationale (DSDEN) de l'Oise, Académie d'Amiens (France), the Inspectoratul Scolar Judetean of Braila (Romania), the Konya Il Milli Egitim Mudurlugu of Konya (Turkey). Aimed at European scholars and professionals involved in education at all levels, the book is an effective and innovative tool for documentation and acquisition of advanced professional skills.
