Abstract: The discussion on the subject of sustainable development at an international level, as is known, mainly develops within the United Nations. The debate on this topic is rooted at an international level, particularly within the United Nations, where, in September 2015, the General Assembly approved a new "Sustainable Development Agenda", to be implemented by 2030, with the identification of 17 objectives and 169 evaluation targets. In this context, the novel element is identified in the fact that the national instruments for implementing these objectives will no longer be evaluated with exclusive reference to the economic dimension of the development that they generate, but also to two other pillars: social inclusion and environmental protection. It is on these themes, in their many declinations, that the authors, with their different sensitivities and perspectives, have focused extensively.
